On Sunday and Monday just gone, we attended the Advancing Queensland Regions-Regional Forum in Innisfail and Tully.

The forum was particularly productive.

Real achievements were made on a number of issues that affect our Far Northern Region.

Our particular focus was jobs, natural resource management, Looking after Country and social housing for those people and families who need accommodation in far north Queensland.

As usual we were advocating for Cape York Peninsula to be included as a part of the solutions to our very real problems up in this part of Queensland.
